A letter regarding the future of The Meadow
To Our Beloved Meadow Community,
When we opened the doors to The Meadow Montessori Play Studio, our dream was simple: we wanted to offer an enriching play experience in a welcoming, yet affordable space where children could freely explore, play, and make core memories with their families.
Watching your children learn, grow, make new friends, and share so many sweet moments in this space over the past year and a half has been one of the greatest honors of our lives. Getting to know so many wonderful families in our community and the surrounding areas has meant more to us than words can say.
Today, with heavy but grateful hearts, we are sharing that a combination of factors has led us to the difficult decision to permanently close The Meadow. Our final day of open play will be Saturday, November 7th, 2026.
While this chapter is coming to an end, we want to ensure a smooth transition for everyone over our remaining time together:
Birthday Parties: All birthday parties already booked will be fully honored and will function as normal. We look forward to making those celebrations wonderful and memorable for your little ones! We will not be booking any more birthday parties or special events for November 2026 onwards.
Open Play: We will remain fully open on our normal schedule through November 7th. The calendar will be posted on our website, as always. We would love nothing more than to see you and your little ones in the studio between now and then!
Bundle Punch Cards & Passes: We will end the sale of new Bundle punch cards
Beginning October 1. We encourage you to use remaining visits before November 7th. If you have an unused balance on a bundle punch card and are unable to use them by our closing date, we will be happy to refund the remaining balance. Proof of punch card purchase or physical copy is required for all refunds. Please speak with us at the front desk or email us to process your request.
Gift Cards: Please be sure to redeem any active gift cards before November 7th. We would love to see you at our Open Play sessions, but remember that Gift Cards can be redeemed for toys from our Toy Shop-both in-store and online!
Memberships: All recurring monthly memberships will be automatically canceled prior to any billing cycles following our closing date-no action is needed on your end.
To every parent, grandparent, nanny, caregiver, and child who walked through our doors, shared a warm smile, purchased our merchandise, or brought their energy into our studio-thank you. You helped bring our lifelong vision to reality and made The Meadow a truly special place. We will carry these memories with us forever.
Please come by to play and visit over the next few weeks. We look forward to celebrating these final weeks with all of you.
With deepest gratitude,
The Meadow Family
